Jahez clearly admits that the Arabs learned the religion and politics from the Iranians. To him the extent and standard of the correctness is determined by the kings, which is why he says at the beginning of many of his arguments, “It is the morality of the kings that...” or “it is not permissible for the kings that...” or “It is right of the kings that...” In this article, his views regarding Iranians and Sassanid kings including their customs, codes of clothing, table manners, and parties are discussed. At the beginning of each chapter of his book Jahez first gives a general explanation about the topic that is going to be discusses and then mentions the views of Iranians and Sassanid kings on that subject and then goes to the Arab caliphs who in fact imitate the rituals and customs of the Sassanid kings. This style of writing clearly shows the influence of Iranian culture on Arabic culture, especially in matters belonging to Iranian tradition, such as the celebration of Mehregan and Nowruz, the ritual of veiling, and court ceremonies, which have no history in the Islamic Caliphate. And many of the unknown customs of the Sassanid government can be recognized from the common rituals and customs in the Abbasid caliphate, and thus Taj fills in the gaps of the Pahlavi texts that have disappeared.}, keywords = {taj,Jahez,Sassanid kings,Iranian customs,Sassanid,wisdom}, title_fa = {کتاب‌شناخت: نگاهی دوباره به کتاب تاج جاحظ}, abstract_fa = {جاحظ از جمله نویسندگان عرب است که در آثار خود توجه ویژهای به ایرانیان، آیین و رسوم ایرانی، پادشاهان ساسانی و سخنان حکیمانة آن‌ها داشته است، به گونهای که به سهولت میتوان دریافت که فرهنگ ایرانی از نظر او قابل احترام و گاه برتر از فرهنگ عربی است. جاحظ به وضوح اعتراف میکند که عربها آیین کشورداری و سیاست را از ایرانیان آموختند. میزان و معیار درستی و صحت هر موضوع را خواست و ارادة شاهان میداند و به همین سبب در ابتدای بسیاری از موضاعات خود میگوید: از اخلاق شاهان این است که... بر شاهان جایز نیست که... از حقوق شاهان این است که... در این نوشتار به دیدگاههای مختلف وی درباره ایرانیان و پادشاهان ساسانی، آداب ‌و رسوم، آداب پوشاک، خوراک، مجالس خوش‌گذرانی، حکمتها و... پرداخته شده است. چنانکه وی در آغاز هر باب از کتابش که به موضوعی خاص اشاره دارد، ابتدا به توضیحی کلی دربارة آن میپردازد و سپس به ذکر دیدگاههای ایرانیان و پادشاهان ساسانی در آن موضوع خاص می‌پردازد و آنگاه به میان خلفای عرب میآید و دیدگاههای آنان را که درواقع تکرار همان آیین و آداب ‌و رسوم شاهان ساسانی است بیان میکند. این شیوة نگارش به وضوح تأثیرپذیری فرهنگ عربی از فرهنگ ایرانی را نشان میدهد به‌ویژه در اموری که از سنتهای ایرانی است از جمله جشن مهرگان و نوروز و نیز آیین پردهداری و تشریفات دربار که در خلافت اسلامی پیشینهای نداشته است. میتوان گفت که گسترة نفوذ فرهنگ و آداب ‌و رسوم ایرانی در میان خلفای عرب به حدی بوده است که جزئی جداییناپذیر از زندگی آن‌ها شده و با فرهنگشان عجین شده است و میتوان بسیاری از آداب و رسوم ناشناختة دولت ساسانی را از آیین و رسوم رایج در خلافت عباسی شناخت و این کتاب جای خالی متون پهلوی را که غالبا از میان رفتهاند پر می‌کند.}, keywords_fa = {کتاب تاج,جاحظ,پادشاهان ساسانی,آداب ‌و رسوم ایرانی,حمکت}, url = {https://jalit.ut.ac.ir/article_73529.html}, eprint = {https://jalit.ut.ac.ir/article_73529_66681c6eab73d5c5b572f601af3fa32f.pdf} }
