Abstract

The art of recognition or humanization and life-giving is a literary structure whose use can give some degree of power and activism to non-human objects and subjects and make them prominent in the overall image of the literary work. This literary technique is one of the important elements of illustration and plays a significant role in bringing out the hidden meanings of the text. In the structure of the novel City Carnival, written by Ms. Nazeh Ramlawi, a contemporary Palestinian writer, the art of recognition is considered one of the effective structures of the story, with the help of which the author expresses the sufferings of the Palestinian land, such as the issue of refugees, camps, the phenomenon of occupation and the chaotic situation of Jerusalem and other areas. Occupancy has paid. Since the place is a prominent and impressive element among the components of this novel, the current research, which is compiled in a descriptive-analytical way, seeks to explain the basic relationship between the art of the language structures of this work and the component of the place and also clarify its place in the general meaning. The story is out. From the findings of the research, it is concluded that the center of gravity of incidents and events is based on the narrative-visual element of the place, which has been realized with the help of the detection industry. Therefore, the detection industry plays an effective role in explaining the semantic implications of the novel and is considered one of the main variables in creating the coherence and continuity of the parts of the story
