چکیده

میرزا یوسف خان اعتصامی مشهور به اعتصام الملک از نویسندگان و مترجمان نامور ایرانی عهد قاجار است. وی تمامی حیات ادبی خود را وقف ترجمه و توسعۀ دانش‌های ادبی نموده است. ترجمه های اعتصامی از ادبیات مغرب و ادبیات عربی باعث آشنایی ایرانیان با بخشی از ادبیات اروپا و عرب معاصر شد. «قلائد الأدب فی شرح أطواق الذهب» در شرح «أطواق الذهب» جارالله زمخشری که بارها در مصر تجدید چاپ شده و مورد توجه ادیبان و فاضلان جهان عرب بویژه مصریان واقع گردیده است و همچنین ترجمة «تـحریر الـمرأة» قاسم امین مصری با عنوان فارسی «تربیت نسوان» از جمله خدمات ادبی یوسف اعتصامی به حساب می‌آید. بررسی این خدمات و فعالیتها موجب آشنایی مردم فرهنگ دوست ایران زمین با ادب، فرهنگ و دیگر توانمندی های یوسف اعتصام الملک می‌شود. کاری که نویسندگان این مقاله آن را وجهة همت خود ساخته‌اند. تا چه قبول افتد و چه در نظر آید.

A Survey on Status of Mirza Yousefkhan Etesamolmolk (Etesami) and His Contributions to Persian & Arab iterature

چکیده [English]

Mirza Yousefkhan Etesamolmolk (Etesami) is a prominent Iranian author, translator and scholar of Qajar era. He is among the great men who devoted his literary life to translation and other cultural activities. His translation from western works allowed Iranian people to be acquainted  with western literature. His works on Arabic language provided the opportunity for Iranian people to be familiar with contemporary Arabic works and made this capable author known to arabs. Some of his Arabic works include "Ghalaed-Al-Adab Fi Sharh –e- Atvagh-el-Zahab" ,a description on "Atvagh-el-Zahab" authored by jarollah Zamakhshari, which was published in several editions and was found interesting by Arab scholars specially the Egyptian scholars. His other works include translation of Ghasem Amin's book with the Persian title of  "Tarbiat-E-Nesvan"(women's eduction). Conducting surveys on his services and activities allows literature loving people of iran to be familiar with his cultural literary works and capabilities and this is the major goal of the authors of this  essay.
