چکیده

در این مقاله پس از مقدمه، ابتدا اصطلاح کهن الگو تبیین شده و سپس نشانه‌های آن در رمان مدرنیستی «حین ترکنا الجسر» بررسی و تحلیل شده است. هدف نویسندگان این مقاله تحلیل این رمان مشهور بر اساس دیدگاه‌های روان‌شناختی کارل گوستاو یونگ است. یافتن این کهن‌الگوها ثابت می‌کند که انسان‌ها از برخی ویژگی‌های روحی- روانی و رفتاری مشترک برخوردارند. این امر در واقع، موضوع ناخودآگاه جمعی را که یونگ مطرح کرده به اثبات می‌رساند. در این مقاله، رمان یاد شده با استفاده از کهن‌الگوهای خود، پیر فرزانه، نگهبان آستانه، پیک، ملون، سایه و دلقک، نقد و تحلیل شده است. در پایان مقاله توضیحی دربارة مفهوم «پل» در این رمان آمده است.

In this paper, at first we reviewed the topics of literary modern criticism and psychological criticism and relationship between psychology and literature, paving the ground for the entry in the main topic. Then We critique the modernist novel «when we left the bridge» by Abdul Rahman Munif through archetypes put forward by psychologists and critics. In this paper criticism of the novel mentioned on the basis of these original models is: the self, the sage old man, the keeper of the threshold, the Prophet, the colored, the shade and the clown
