چکیده
عقاد از نویسندگان و ناقدان برجستة معاصر مصری است که با نگارش کتاب «ابن الرومی: حیاته من شعره» کوشیده است، دیدگاههای قابل تأملی دربارة این شاعر بزرگ بدست دهد. او معتقد است که ابن رومی شاعر برجستة عصر عباسی، سرآمد معاصران خود به شمار میآید، اما برخلاف جایگاه ادبیش پادشاهان از او حمایت نکردند.
از آنجا که عقاد نکات نقدی مهمی را دربارة ابن رومی مطرح می‌کند، بررسی کتاب وی حائز اهمیت است. نوشتة پیش رو به بررسی و تحلیل آراء عقاد می‌پردازد. ولی تمامی نظریههای عقاد به دور از نقیصه نبوده و یا اینکه برخی از نظریههای او نیازمند تغییراتی بوده است، از این رو در این جستار دیدگاههای نویسندگان و ناقدان دیگر برای تایید یا ردّ نظریههای وی آورده شده و در پایان هر مطلب نیز، نظر برتر و نتیجة منطقی به همراه استدلال، بیان شده است.

چکیده [English]
Al-Aqad was a contemporary prominent critic and writer of Egypt who by authoring the book about Ibn al Rumi life and his poems‚ tried to present thoughtful view points, about this great poet. He believed that Ibn Al-rumi was a great poet of Abbasi era and was a poet laureate of his contemporary poets but unlike his literary position‚ he was not supported by the kings.
It is worth noting that because Al- Aqad presented important critical opinions about - Ibn Al-Rum, reviewing this book is important . The present writing deals with Al-Aqad‚s concept‚ but since all Aqad's theories are not flawless or some of his theories need change therefore research and other ideas to confirm or reject his theories have been presented . At the end of the each subject‚ superior views and logical results along with reasoning will be expressed .
